So... here we go! Welcome to our nearly completed new web-site! First we want to thank our Web Master Evan Denis for his outstanding work on the development and design input on our Team's new internet home. Great job Evan! Thanks for everything!  We also wanted to let you know that more is coming to this site. We are adding a Flash Intro and some other cool stuff that will make this page one of the best  Race Team pages on the net.

In using the blog page, we plan to keep you updated on the activities and results of the SKR Rebel Racing Team. As we continue to grow our team, more new pages and goodies will be added. We are still in the process of finishing up our crew Bios and our Driver in Development program. As those are completed, we will add them to our new site right away.

Today is a test and tune day at Miller Motorsports Park. We have suffered some issues with the braking system on Scott's Main Kart and have had it in the shop for the past two weeks. Today we will find out if all of that work has paid off. We have also made some chassis adjustments and are hoping to shave at least 1/2 to 1 full second off of our lap times on "The Big Snake."

The Snake is the layout of the .89 mile track that we race on at MMP. It is a relatively high speed layout with the full 1000 foot straightaway and some very quick S turns and chicanes. Of course, there are some very technical portions of the course that one must hit his or her marks perfectly to maintain speed through.

We are loading up now and preparing to hit the track for a day of tweaking and adjusting to try to get the Kart as perfect for the course, on which we will race for Utah Championship Points, tomorrow (Saturday September 8th).

When we get back here tonight, after practice, we will let you know how the changes that we have made to the chassis have worked out. Thanks for stopping by! We hope that you will follow our team as we grow and as we get our driver in development program up to speed and get her on the track and competitive. Amy is a little fireball and has no fear. We are excited to have her as a member of our growing team.
